Canadian Independent College provides a variety of programs to interested students during the summer (July-August). The programs engage and stimulate students in a safe and controlled environment. An enriched curriculum mixed with day and weekend trips are provided to summer camp students from a multicultural background. The programs currently being offered include:

Computer Programming
English as a Second Language (ESL)
Leaders & Leadership Module
Lego Robotics
Management
Sports

The Global Context

The program at Canadian Independent College has an international angle to reflect this global village in which we find ourselves living. Canadian Independent College continues to be the home school for over two hundred students from all parts of the world.

Canadian Independent College plans to establish sister schools, located in Ghana, Japan, Kenya, and Mexico. Students will have the option of taking their classes here at Canadian Independent College or in one of our four sister schools (this program is subject to enrolment). The curriculum will be the same but the settings clearly different. When students from these countries come to our school for their final year(s) of high school, positive relationships will be in place or easily facilitated.

As well, Canadian Independent College has a working relationship with Waterloo Region Community Services Agencies to facilitate community service for our students and enhance our students' view of the world through information, volunteering, and assistance with international projects.
